As the health care reform debate moves forward discussions are becoming heated at townhhall meeting. Obama brings up the disinformation.
As this is so important US citizens should read the bill themselves in this writers opinion. It is becoming more and more difficult to wade through the rumors and outright efforts to discredit President Obama at every turn. Basically don't listen to anyone on TV or Radio. Read the bill and decide on your own, not some fat pill head from Florida or a anchor person on CNN who went to community college. Non of these people have the credentials to now whats best.
Just because a person in the media says they are a expert doesn't make them one.
House painting is becoming the fastest growing new business in America now. Most of these new painters never worked in the trade, but they will all say they know what there doing. Watch out for peeling paint next year.
So before anyone decides a person in the media is a authority watch for peeling paint to come.

The Presidents weekly address has become a platform for him to push Health Care Reform. On July 17, 2009 The President called on Congress to seize this opportunity – one that may not come again for decades – and finally pass health care reform: "It’s about every family unable to keep up with soaring out of pocket costs and premiums rising three times faster than wages. Every worker afraid of losing health insurance if they lose their job, or change jobs. Everyone who’s worried that they may not be able to get insurance or change insurance if someone in their family has a pre-existing condition.
The president hopes to get reform passed this year.

The President speaks in a landmark speech on health care reform to the American Medical Association in Chicago Ill. More than at any time before, he explained his vision for comprehensive reform that addresses every weak point in our health care system. It is a vision that implements best practices that have allowed some towns and companies to cut costs by as much as half compared to others. It is a vision that makes sure everybody has access to quality, affordable coverage, whether your family hits a rough patch or you have a pre-existing condition. It is a vision in which patients’ and doctors’ interests are aligned. And it is a vision where Americans’ choices of doctors and coverage are maintained, and they also have a choice of a public option that can help keep private insurers honest.
Obama is pushing the health care institutions to make the changes need for health care reform. They must fix themselves or be left behind.
