We have decided to ad some fun things to lighten up the blog. Politics can be a heated issue. Not my intent. Our charge is to document history of Barack Obama and related issues. This is why you don't see very much editorial writing here. That could change.

Confirmation For Judge Sonia Sotomayor Begins | Scrutiny on Video’s

President Barack Obama nominated his choice to fill the upcoming vacant seat on the Supreme Court of the United States. The president sounds very enthusiastic about his nominee Judge Sotomayor.

I think we should all take this opportunity to have our children follow the vetting process of Judge's in the USA. Nominations don't happen that often.  Show them every body has opinions on these subjects.

Almost as soon as Mr Obama was done with his announcement information began the appear from all kinds of sources. Some out of context. As a judge Sotomayor's record has been public for some time. Everyone needs to do their own research and decide if they want Judge Sotomayor  as a Supreme Court Justice who will be around longer than President Obama.

I could ad dozens of video today, but I'm not. I posted the just a couple making the rounds on the Internet. The first one below has created a big hoopla on the talk radio circuit.

This  interview Coulter On Sotomayor: Clarence Thomas & Miguel Estrada's Backgrounds Didn't Impress Democrats is pretty extreme view of the nomination process.

It wasn't 2 days before Coulter started with the racist card.

The white house has sent out her background giving a thorough look at Judge Sotomayor’s life and career. Good thing about America is we have a right to our own opinion no matter how crazy you are.

Obama Video News Site Adds Google Translate | Traductor Google

When Barack Obama nominated Judge Solomayer it dawn on me to start translating some of the text here.  I honestly feel that all American citizens should be able to read what our President has to say.

Lets face it not everyone who comes to the United States can learn to read English let alone read and write it.

Google has made a really neat tool called Google Translate. I have been using it to post tweet on EspanolTweet. I started the account to test and see how many Hispanics use twitter.

Since the test on twitter seamed to work out I added the widget for Google Translate in the side bar here. It contains 100's of translations.

Espanol:

Cuando Barack Obama es designado Juez Solomayer amanecer conmigo para empezar a traducir el texto algunos de aquí. Sinceramente siento que todos los ciudadanos deberían ser capaces de leer lo que nuestro Presidente tiene que decir.

Permite hacer frente a todos los que no llega a los Estados Unidos pueden aprender a leer Inglés y mucho menos que leer y escribir.

Google ha hecho realmente un puro instrumento llamado Google Translate. He estado usando para publicar en Tweet EspanolTweet. Empecé la cuenta para probar y ver cómo muchos hispanos uso twitter.
